2026 Budget Vote & Board of Education Election Results
Fishers Island School community, thank you for participating in yesterday's annual budget vote and Board of Education election.
Budget Vote: The 2026-27 school budget has been approved by voters, 74–22.
Board of Education: With two seats open, the results are as follows:
Beth Cashel — 65 votes
Nikole Aiello — 51 votes
Rosanna Anderson — 51 votes
Krystal Wood — 26 votes
Beth Cashel has been reelected to the Board of Education. Nikole Aiello and Rosanna Anderson tied for the second open seat. In accordance with New York State Education Law, a special run-off election will be held within 45 days. Additional information regarding the date, time, and voting details will be shared as soon as it becomes available.
