To help your family prepare for the school year, we invite you to a Welcome Back to School Community Forum on Thursday, August 31, 2023, via Zoom.
The forum will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a brief welcome-back presentation, new school year reminders, an update on our school construction project, and an opportunity to ask any questions. The forum will be recorded and shared with anyone unable to attend live.

Due to the altered Ferry Schedule, tomorrow's elementary early dismissal will be as follows:
CT Students- Will take the 11:15a ferry and be picked up by parents at 12:00p in New London (Mrs. Pantalone will supervise students on the ferry).
FI Students- Will be dismissed for pickup at 12:30p

Due to the Air Quality Advisory, we will have indoor PE and indoor recess today, Thursday, June 8th. Please be mindful of physical exertion for any other outdoor activities.
The 5K Race scheduled today has been postponed to Monday, June 12th.
Due to the Air Quality Advisory, all after-school activities have been canceled today, Wednesday, June 7, 2023. This includes the high school beach clean-up and auto club.

F.I. School Community End-of-Year Family Picnic!
When: June 16 after school until ?? (Ferries leave Fishers at 6:15, 7:30, and 9:30)
Where: Dock Beach on Fishers Island (transportation will be provided from school to Dock Beach and back)
Burgers, hot dogs, chips, lemonade, and iced tea will be provided. Feel free to bring a side or dessert to share!

The class of 2026 is having a dessert basket raffle at the concert on Monday May 22nd. We are looking for community members who might be interested in donating to this cause. Interested persons should email the class advisor, Mike George (m.george@fischool.com).
Bakers can drop off deserts at the school the afternoon of May 22, or those coming to the concert can bring donations with them. For those with allergies, please consider listing ingredients. Thank you for your support!
